Houston leaders highlight new law for Public Safety Officers’ De-Escalation training: HOUSTON (KIAH) Houston leaders gathered today at Houston City Hall to discuss the newly enacted Law Enforcement De-Escalation Training Act with U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and the HPD police chief.
