Pelosi Demands Masks in the House - OR ELSE

Following through on a promise she made earlier, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday announced face masks are now required on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

After announcing the mandate, Pelosi warned lawmakers she'll have no problem removing those who don't comply. "The chair would also like to remind members that the speaker has the authority to direct the sergeant at arms to remove a member from the floor as a matter of decorum," she threatened. "To reiterate, the chair views the failure to wear a mask as a serious breach of decorum."

The new policy comes hours after Representative Louie Gohmert -- who's been frequently seen in the House without a mask -- tested positive for COVID-19.

The President was in Texas today and didn't wear one when arriving in Midland. Texas continues to see surging numbers and just added another 300+ deaths.

Shouldn't lawmakers have been the first people to wear masks? Would there be less anti-mask sentiment if they had?

Or is it just too late?

Have a nice day. Please stay safe.
