Astros WIN the World Series Championship: I was at celebration inside the clubhouse

 

Attending the Houston Astros World Series Championship is one of the highlights of my career as a journalist. I know this job won't make me rich. However, you couldn't even buy a ticket for moments like this. 

I had the honor and the pleasure of being inside the Houston Astros clubhouse after their World Series win tonight and it was so electric. The guys were so excited and everyone inside had this wonderful feeling of pride and pleasure knowing how special it was to be a part of the party and of history for the team.

I did too. I bought a white dress that I wore on the field and cute heels that kept digging into the field. I didn't care.

 

I got to walk with Jose Altuve as he held the trophy and almost fell on my rear to keep up as he beamed at the cheering crowd. Anyway, I felt the spray of champagne all around the clubhouse that night. 

After working a 15 hour shift for several nights that week, this moment made it all worth it. Here's a look.
